What is Flomax?
Flomax is used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (also this condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia - BPH). Flomax belongs to a group of drugs that called alpha-adrenergic blockers. It works by relaxing the veins and arteries and consequently makes the blood to flow more easily.
Flomax is very effective medicine to treat urination in men with enlarged prostate. Flomax is not for use in women.
